Support and privacy information

Support

Fire Ant ID is an independent iPhone guide for safely recording suspected fire ant sightings and finding official Australian reporting services.

For app support, email support@agenticconsciousness.com.au. Avoid sending sensitive details unless needed to explain your question.

Keep people and pets away from suspected ants and nests. Do not disturb or treat them. Photograph only if safe. You can report without a photo or the app.

NSW: call 1800 680 244 or visit current NSW advice. Queensland: call 13 22 68 or use the official reporting portal. Elsewhere in Australia: call 1800 084 881 or see national guidance.

Call 000 in Australia for signs of a severe allergic reaction. Contact a veterinarian for an affected animal, urgently for serious symptoms. This app does not diagnose a species or medical condition and does not automatically submit reports.

Privacy

Fire Ant ID is an independent app by Daniel Hall. Privacy questions: support@agenticconsciousness.com.au.

On your device

Optional sighting notes, place descriptions, coordinates and photo copies are stored locally. App-managed files are excluded from automatic backup; export records you wish to retain. Uninstalling the app may remove them. The app does not require an account or automatically upload sightings.

Photos and location

Camera and current location are requested only when you choose those actions. You can select pictures with the system photo picker. Imported copies are redrawn without embedded photo location metadata; written addresses and visible landmarks may still reveal a place. Your original photographs are not changed.

Sharing and deletion

Exporting or sharing is optional. Check the contents and recipient. If you choose the email action, your selected details and photos are included. Review the recipient and send it yourself. If Apple Mail is unavailable, you can share the report and photos with another email app and enter the recipient there. External apps and official reporting sites have their own privacy practices. You must submit reports to authorities separately. Delete individual sightings or all local records in the app; this does not delete originals, exported copies or reports already shared.

Advertising and tracking

The app contains no advertising or tracking SDKs.
